Throughout her more then 15 years career, Brazilian singer and songwriter Anna Setton has performed on some of the world’s largest stages.
Her debut album, Anna Setton (2018), brings 7 original compositions, and three renditions (minha voz, minha vida – Caetano Veloso, A Lenda do Abaeté – Dorival Caymmi and Nature Boy – eden ahbez).
Produced by Swami Jr and recorded with great musicians from the Brazilian jazz scene, the album was pretty well received by the critics and the public. The show of this album went all around Brazil and abroad, in countries such as Portugal, France, Germany and England, Australia, Korea and Japan.
Her most recent work is the album Onde mora meu coração (2021). With some very peculiar voice and and guitar renditions, and recorded live in studio, it brings a collection of some of the classical Brazilian songbook, as well as one original (Revoada, with Edu Sangirardi) and one touching duet with the great Cuban diva Omara Portuondo (Nocturno Antillano).
